Cyndi Lauper, Camila Cabello, Andra Day, Julia Michaels, Bebe Rexha + the Resistance Revival Chorus Join Kesha for Moving Grammy Performance

Cyndi Lauper, Camila Cabello, Andra Day, Julia Michaels, Bebe Rexha, and the Resistance Revival Chorus joined Kesha onstage for an emotional rendition of her song “Praying” at the 2018 Grammy Awards.

After spending years embroiled in a legal battle against producer Dr. Luke, Kesha made an astounding comeback this year. The producer had formerly prevented her from producing music for six years using a legal contract she signed. But Kesha has come back with a vengeance. Her album Rainbow was nominated for Best Pop Vocal Album and “Praying” was nominated for Best Pop Solo Performance.
This performance not only shows Kesha’s resilience but the power of women coming together in solidarity for one who has been abused and harmed. The message they are sending? #MeToo.
“after everything you’ve done I can thank you for how strong I have become”
