Logic, Alessia Cara, and Khalid stun the audience of the Grammy’s last night with their powerful performance of ‘1-800-273-8255.’

Logic, Alessia Cara, and Khalid joined together on stage to perform the final performance of the night singing ‘1-800-273-8255.’ Logic named the song after the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline number to remind fans and people that they are not alone and someone is always there to help.  Logic wore a shirt with the Lifeline number and Alessia Cara wore a shirt that stated, “Give Us Hope.”

The most precious part of the final performance was not the Grammy-nominated artists, but the dozens of suicide attempt survivors that lined the stage with the stars. Logic started on a small stage and was followed by Alessia Cara’s part to the last part which highlighted Khalid’s outstanding and powerful voice.

Logic then ended the performance by stating, “stand tall and crush all predators under the weight of your heart that is full of the love that they will never take away from you.” His words gave light to the #MeToo movement and the Time’s Up campaign. He then shouted, “bring us your tired, your poor and any immigrant who seeks refuge,” and “you are not shitholes,” which was a jab at President Trump’s comments about other countries and immigrants.

Since the release of Logic’s ‘1-800-273-8255,’ the Lifeline number usage has gone up since April 2017.
