Teaser Trailer for ‘Solo: A Star Wars Story’ Hits Orbit
The highly anticipated film released the first teaser bit during Super Bowl LII.
As expected, Disney promoted their upcoming Star Wars story, Solo, during the single most viewed sporting event in the United States. However, the sneak peek didn’t stop there. As promised, Good Morning America released the full teaser trailer Monday morning.
The trailer introduces Donald Glover as Lando Calrissian, Woody Harrelson as Beckett, and Emilia Clarke as Qi’ra, while bringing the famed, dynamic duo back to life with Joonas Suotamo as Chewbacca and Alden Ehrenreich as Han Solo and their pristine ride, the Millennium Falcon.
In the trailer, you hear Ehrenreich’s Solo declare “I’m gonna be a pilot, the best in the galaxy.” Considering what we already know about the beloved character, he isn’t wrong. Given that fans know how this story ends, many are wary about this story. Its production struggles weren’t comforting, and its attempt to tell a story that no one was asking for doesn’t help. But given the action-packed trailer (featuring Han Solo’s signature grin), this story is warming up to many.
Solo is set to be released May 25.
