New Details About the Filming of ‘Fifty Shades Freed’ Revealed
Stars of the Fifty Shades of Grey trilogy Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan recently revealed some backstage secrets to filming the newest film in an interview with Marie Claire.
The finale to the series, called Fifty Shades Freed, shifted from the usual chaos and sexual desire seen in the other films to explore the real-life side of the hot couple. We see them get married and explore their lives together, but don’t worry the sex is still there, and still just as awkward for the real-life actors.
In Marie Claire, Dakota Johnson described that while playing her character Anastasia Steele, she had a sticky strapless thong that she wore to keep her modesty. She claims that it’s basically the same thing as nipple pasties except in the place of underwear. Co-star Jamie Dornan who plays Christian Grey also wore a pouch to keep himself together. The two together also said that they often needed a “shot of something strong” prior to filming. It certainly doesn’t seem like anyone was comfortable, but we certainly love how the final product turned out.
