Fergie performed quite the national anthem performance for the NBA All-Star game on Sunday night and responds back to the backlash saying, “I tried my best.”
The “Fergalicious” singer claimed she wanted to try something different for the NBA All-Star game, but it did not go as expected according to public response. She told E! News, “I’ve always been honored and proud to perform the national anthem, and last night I wanted to try something special for the NBA.”
Stars such as Chance the Rapper and Jimmy Kimmel were spotted during the performance and trying hard to control their faces. Even if Fergie’s performance was not the greatest, plenty of singers have had moments like this and then they jump back.
