Disney Donates Profits from Black Panther to the Boys & Girls Club
Disney donated $1 million from Black Panther to The Boys & Girls Clubs.
Black Panther has experienced major box office success in the two weeks since it has premiered. Disney is giving $1 million to The Boys & Girls Clubs of America to celebrate the success of the film. The donation will be used to help grow the organization’s science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) curriculum. It will also help establish new STEM centers of innovation in 12 cities, which include Atlanta, Baltimore, Chicago, Harlem, Hartford, Memphis, New Orleans, Orlando, Philadelphia, Washington D.C. and Watts, California.

Black Panther has seen major success in the last two weeks with an estimated $108 million in ticket sales, which puts it on track to become one of the highest-grossing blockbusters ever.
The film has grossed $400 million domestically and $704 million worldwide in two weeks.
