President Barack Obama May Be Coming to Netflix Soon
The former POTUS is currently in advanced negotiations with Netflix to produce a series of high-profile shows.
While the deal is not final yet, Obama hopes his shows will become a global platform to broadcast inspirational stories to viewers. According to Eric Schultz, who acted as senior advisor to Obama, “President and Mrs. Obama have always believed in the power of storytelling to inspire…as they consider their future personal plans, they continue to explore new ways to help others tell and share their stories.”
Apple and Amazon have also reportedly expressed interest in collaborating with the Obamas, but Netflix may gain exclusivity with them if the deal goes through.
