Thursday evening, Francia Raisa took to her Instagram to thank her fans. After making headlines last year for her involvement with saving Selena Gomez’s life, it seems that Raisa made her way back into the limelight.
After discovering that her best friend, Selena Gomez, was facing death given an attack on her kidney by Lupus, Raisa stepped up to the plate and was the miraculous match that could save her life. Revealing the truth behind her absence from the public eye in September, Gomez and Raisa were making appearances from the Today Show to the Billboard Women in Music event.
After the news, her follower account quickly rose, but it had not hit the monumental million mark until after her role as Ana on Grown-ish. Her current program on Freeform is not the first time she has worked with the network, given her famed role as Adrian on The Secret Life of the American Teenager, which aired on the network when it was known as ABC Family.
