The Ladies of Sex and the City Support Cynthia Nixon in Running for New York Governor
Kim Cattrall and Kristin Davis support their Sex and the City co-star, Cynthia Nixon for her New York Governor bid.
For those of us who have seen Sex and the City movies and many TV episodes, we are totally not surprised that Cynthia Nixon, who played Miranda, would be running for Governor of New York. The 60-year-old is running for Andrew Cuomo’s position as the Governor of New York.
The ladies of Sex and the City have publicly announced their support for Nixon’s candidacy. Kim Cattrall tweeted, “I support & respect any former colleague’s right to make their own career choices.” Kristin Davis also publicly announced her support through Twitter.

Cynthia Nixon’s other co-star, Willie Garson who played Standford, also took to Instagram to support the Sex and the City star.
Sarah Jessica Parker has not publicly announced her support for Cynthia Nixon, however, if she wins, she will become New York’s first female and openly gay governor.
