Channing and Jenna Dewan Tatum Announce Separation
After nine years of marriage, the lovers from Step Up have announced that they are parting ways.
One of Hollywood’s favorite couples, Channing and Jenna Dewan Tatum, has announced their separation on Monday evening. After finding love on the set of their 2006 film Step Up, the two have had one daughter Everly, who was just brought into the limelight at the Kids’ Choice Awards at the end of March.
The news comes as a surprise to many. After nine years of marriage, the two have appeared at one another’s side for years, from red carpets to Lip Sync Battles.
The news broke after Channing and Jenna shared their joint statement on Instagram. Claiming that their split does not derive from “secrets nor salacious events,” the couple shared that they do recognize this time apart as the best method of helping each other “live the most joyous, fulfilled lives as possible.”
