Tommy Hilfiger Launches New Spring Campaign for the New Adaptive Collection
It is made to be inclusive and extend “fashion for all.”
Tommy Hilfiger has launched a new spring campaign for its Adaptive Collection and we could not love it more. Keeping the signature red, white, and blue look, TH has modified their sleek styles to cater to the needs of all.
Stepping up to facilitate fashion, TH’s site states, “Driven by our commitment to innovation and modern style, our new collection delivers solutions to make dressing easier.”
Released Tuesday morning, these are the latest efforts to keep fashion accessible.
During HBO’s Night of Too Many Stars, Tommy Hilfiger, founder and principal designer of Tommy Hilfiger, sat down to speak about his mission to modify his designs and improve their adaptability for those with disabilities. After sharing his personal struggles of dressing some of his own kids, he said, “Inclusivity has been at the core of my brand’s DNA.”
Rather than buttons, they introduce magnets. Pants are now bound by velcro and T-shirts are more accessible.
Since its initial launch in 2016, the collection has continued to improve and stay fresh. Its new digital campaign features group of disability advocates, including motivational speaker and blogger Mama Cax, dancer Chelsie Hill, Paralympian gold medalist Jeremy Campbell and chef Jeremiah Josey.
