Beyoncé Turned Coachella into Beychella
Beyoncé won the Coachella 2018 competition by a landslide.
Coachella is notoriously known for a weekend of fun, music, and A-list celebrity appearances, but this year, Beyoncé took over. This year, Beyoncé gave a show-stopping performance with Destiny’s Child, her husband Jay-Z, and sister Solange. Yoncé was also the first black woman to headline the music festival.
Not only was the superstar making a come back in the singing world, she was bringing us her many custom-designed outfits designed by Olivier Rousting. He is the designer Bey uses for her outfits on tour, however, according to Rousting, her stylist asked him to create her Coachella looks. In an interview with Vogue, he said, “Marni told me that the shows were all about survivors and that B was looking for something in a military style.”
He worked with Beyoncé and her team as well as Beyoncé’s stylist Senofonte to create an original look that appealed to Beyoncé’s expectations.
