Scarlett Johansson Talks Motherhood + Upcoming Film Avengers: Infinity War on Ellen
The highest grossing actress of all time appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show to discuss her new movie Avengers: Infinity War and her life as a mother.
On the show, Johansson talked about her 3 year-old daughter, Rose, and how she thinks of her mother as a superhero. The actress also mentioned that her daughter is “painfully girlie” and loves to wear princess dresses all the time.
When Ellen asked her what Rose thinks her mother does as a full-time job, Scarlett said that her daughter thinks that she fights people everyday and is an actual superhero wearing a pleather unitard.
Ellen then brought up Scarlett’s Ivanka Trump impersonation on Saturday Night Live. While they were on the topic, Ellen brought up Scarlett’s boyfriend Colin Jost, who does “Weekend Update” on SNL. A throwback photo of Jost showed up on the screen with him sporting a beard, which caught Scarlett off guard making her impossible to now “unsee” the photo.
Ellen and Johansson also discussed her highly anticipated film Avengers: Infinity War. Ellen asked Scarlett about the possibilities of her character, Black Widow, having her own spin-off movie. The actress said that there could be room for one.
