Florence & the Machine Announces New Single “Hunger”
Florence & the Machine excites fans with a new single and an official Instagram account.
The band introduced their new Instagram account by sharing a post on their single “Hungry.” The song won’t be the only thing released May 3rd. There will also be a video for “Hungry” that was directed by A.G. Rojas.
It has been about three years since the indie rock band has released new music. After their 2015 album, How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful, Florence Welch took time away to address personal issues. Facing her demons helped influence the band’s latest album, which will drop later this year.
“Hungry” comes after their single “Sky Full of Song” which came out on this year’s Record Store Day. Florence Welch is also debuting her book, Useless Magic, on July 5th. It will include poetry, lyrics, and illustrations from Welch’s sketchbook, offering some insight into her creative process.
