Selena Gomez’s new Instagram post proves that she can address anything that comes her way.

There was the criticism of her bronzed makeup look, some say it was a possibly overdone tanned look. It was pointed out in many of her photos including the ones with Gigi Hadid and Kylie Jenner. While stars were posting their looks over their social media platforms, Gomez stayed relatively shy from her photos, most likely because of the negative and critical comments.

For the Heavenly Bodies theme of the gala, makeup artist Hung Vanngo had Gomez looking very glowy, glittery, and tan, with golden eyes and a nude lip. Her body was also glowing due to complete the look of warmth. People took to Twitter to comment that she looked like Ross in a Friends episode where he gets a spray tan and it goes wrong.

However, Gomez proved most mature when she posted a video clip of her running away in her Met Gala gown, captioning her post “Me when I saw my pictures from the MET 🤷🏽‍♀️.” We applaud Selena for taking her criticisms with humor and humility. She’s gorgeous no matter what.
