The Katy Perry and Taylor Swift Feud Is Over
The feud between Katy Perry and Taylor Swift is finally over.
In a sweet Instagram story, Taylor Swift showed the gift that Katy Perry sent which included an actual olive branch, a symbol of peace. Swift is just about to start her Reputation tour and shared the video with her 107 million followers. In the package, there was a beautiful olive branch with the words miscommunications and apologies written on notes.
The two stars had a falling out since 2014 that appears to finally be over. After miscommunications over backup dancers, each subsequently had a song released, supposedly about each other– Taylor Swift’s “Bad Blood” and Katy Perry’s “Swish Swish”. There were also a series of tweets, also suggesting that there was drama between the two.
Taylor Swift was very happy with this gesture, and she expressed that it meant a lot to her. The future is looking promising.
