Calling All Robots at This Year’s Burning Man Festival
Come to the Burning Man Festival this summer to experience robot filled fun in the middle of the Black Rock Desert in Nevada.
The theme of this “temporary metropolis dedicated to art and community” is “I, Robot”, a selection of science fiction short stories written by Isaac Asimov. From August 26th to September 3rd, this isolated desert will be filled with art inspired by the various forms of artificial intelligence that invades our day to day lives.
The Burning Man Festival invites all participants to tap into their creative side to construct a range of innovative robots. In addition, they excitedly welcome any type of art that showcases the emotions attached to the invasion of privacy and being monitored constantly by artificial intelligence.
Not only will there be thought provoking art, but also spontaneous musical experiences throughout the festival. You are invited to create various forms of art, volunteer, or simply enjoy this super cool, modern community.
