Taraji P. Henson is Engaged

“I said yes, y’all!”

For the most part, Empire star Taraji P. Henson keeps her personal life private. She did, however, inform her followers the good news of her engagement to former NFL star Kelvin Hayden.

Taraji Henson ended her Mother’s Day with a marriage proposal. She took to Instagram to express her joy: “He started with the Cartier love bracelet but that was my Mother’s Day gift and then he dropped to his knee and I almost passed out,” she wrote, adding emojis and hashtags #sheisofficiallyoffthemarket and #GodIs.

Hilariously, along with the upcoming matrimony, Taraji Henson’s most recent acting role is in Tyler Perry’s Acrimony, a psychological thriller about the revenge on an unfaithful husband. Henson is terrifying, but only in the movie, of course.

The two lovebirds have been dating for over two years, although her relationship was revealed recently in December 2017.

There is yet to be a formal announcement on Kelvin Hayden’s Instagram but he posted a cute picture of the two of them recently with a crown emoji as the caption.
