Christina Aguilera and Demi Lovato Drop Powerful New Song “Fall in Line”
Christina Aguilera and Demi Lovato released an inspiring duet, “Fall in Line,” that is the anthem that women needed.
The new song will in Aguilera’s upcoming album, Liberation, which is just what the song is: liberating. “Fall in Line” gives inspiring advice to girls and women from the very beginning with Aguilera’s opening line of “Little girls, listen closely / ’cause no one told me / but you deserve to know / that in this world, you are not beholden / you do not owe them / your body and your soul.”
The song gives the message that women don’t need to be a certain way to satisfy someone else, you should just be who you want to be. It is an anthem that women need, especially as of recently as women are becoming more empowered with their voices. With a message this strong, it only makes sense to have two powerhouse singers like Aguilera and Lovato to send it.
Aguilera’s album Liberation will be out June 15th. But until then, you can see Aguilera and Lovato perform the duet on May 20th at the Billboard Music Awards.
