Fifth Harmony Releases Emotional Farewell Video ‘Don’t Say You Love Me’
Fifth Harmony says goodbye to fans with one final song before their indefinite hiatus.
In March, Fifth Harmony released a statement via Twitter announcing an indefinite hiatus to allow the remaining four members the chance to pursue “solo endeavors.”
Like the singers of One Direction, who also went on an indefinite hiatus after Zayn Malik left, Dinah Jane, Normani Kordei, Ally Brooke, Lauren Jauregui, and Camila Cabello auditioned as solo artists on The X Factor but formed a group to avoid elimination.
Although Cabello parted ways with the girl group in late 2016, the remaining members continued touring and releasing new music.
Fifth Harmony’s hiatus has been looming in the air since their announcement, and the time has finally come.
As a parting gift to Harmonizers, the “Down” singers released a music video for their farewell song, ‘Don’t Say You Love Me.’
The video for the emotional song about a distant lover symbolizes their time together as the girls start the video singing separately, eventually come together, and then part ways.
‘Don’t Say You Love Me’ follows the group’s final performance and marks an end to this chapter for Fifth Harmony.
