The Weeknd and Marvel Release Starboy Comic-Inspired Merch
The Weeknd and Marvel joined forces to come up with, not only a comic book series based off of the Weeknd’s album Starboy, but also a limited edition clothing collection.
The Marvel XO “Vol. 1 Issue 1” collection includes long-sleeve crewnecks, hoodies, t-shirts, hats, and a coach jacket. This collection is based on the Starboy comic book that the Weeknd and Marvel created.
The collection references graphics from the comic’s characters like the antagonist, Jack “The Chef” Smiley, and of course the heroic Starboy. I think we might be just as excited as the Weeknd, as he says of the collab that “Marvel is the pinnacle of success in their field and I’ve been a lifelong fan of their work. To be able to partner with them is a dream come true.”
But here is the catch. Both the merch and the comic book are limited edition on the Weeknd’s online store for only 96 hours, so grab them up while you still have time. The actual issue of the comic, The Weeknd Presents: Starboy, will be released on June 13th worldwide.
