Taylor Swift and Shawn Mendes Perform Together at the Rose Bowl

Taylor Swift surprised her fans on Friday, May 18, at California’s Rose Bowl stadium by performing with a special guest.

Together, Taylor Swift and Shawn Mendes performed his 2017 pop hit “There’s Nothing Holdin’ Me Back” at the Rose Bowl stadium in Pasadena, California. While Swift typically covers different songs at her concerts, this time it was made a little more special. After the first opening verse of the Illuminate song, she asked Shawn Mendes to join her on the stage.

Earlier that day before the show, Taylor Swift posted a clip of her and Shawn Mendes rehearsing together, teasing and alluding to their performance that would occur later. Shawn Mendes also shared his new track, “Where Were You in the Morning?” shortly after the performance.

This gig was Swift’s fourth concert of her Reputation tour.
