The Obamas Will Officially Be Working with Netflix
Former President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama’s production company, Obama Ink, has officially made a multi-year deal with Netflix.
The multi-year agreement allows the Obamas to produce a variety of content, including unscripted and scripted series, features, documentaries, and docu-series. This will be another valuable platform for the Obamas to use as Netflix has 125 million global subscribers.

The Obamas won’t use this new opportunity to argue with Trump’s views and policies. They instead will share inspiring stories. Michelle Obama says, “Barack and I have always believed in the power of storytelling to inspire us, to make us think differently about the world around us, and to help us open our minds and hearts to others. Netflix’s unparalleled service is a natural fit for the kinds of stories we want to share, and we look forward to starting this exciting new partnership.”
It is no surprise as the Obamas have always been advocates for public service. It seems like the breath of fresh air we needed since the Obamas have left office. There is no news yet on details of the series and films they will produce, but we have our tissues ready for the stories they will tell.
