The Canadian heartthrob released his self-titled album at midnight, and fans went crazy. After releasing two singles in March, fans waited in anticipation until May 25 to hear the whole album. Handwritten and Illuminate topped the charts, so the Canadian pop star knows that there is much to be expected on this new album. The album experiments with different styles, but remains consistent with showcasing the outstanding vocals that got this teen on the radar in the first place.

This album definitely marks that Shawn is no longer the cute singer from Vine, and that he is now a force to be reckoned with in the music industry.
