Dylan Farrow, the adopted daughter of Rosemary’s Baby actress, Mia Farrow, was just seven years old when she accused her mother’s then-husband, actor/director Woody Allen, of molesting her in the attic crawlspace of their vacation home in Bridgewater, Connecticut, while her mother and two adopted siblings were out shopping.

Now, thirty-two and a mother to a daughter of her own, Dylan Farrow has become an outspoken activist against Hollywood sexual abuse and child exploitation within the industry. She has continued to defend her accusations against Allen, and, for the most part, her family seems extremely supportive of her.

So, when her older brother, Moses Farrow, published a scathing essay, not only accusing Mia Farrow of physical and emotional abuse, and also claimed Dylan was lying about the abuse, the activist took to Twitter where she offered her own perspective on the issue.

“This is an attempt to deflect from a credible allegation made by an adult woman, by trying to impugn my mother who has only ever been supportive of me and my siblings ,” Dylan Farrow wrote.

Journalist, Ronan Farrow, was also quick to comment on the issue saying, “My mother did an extraordinary job raising us, and none of my siblings with whom I’ve spoken ever witnessed anything but love and care from a single mom who went through hell to keep her kids safe.”

Despite this all, Dylan Farrow did offer some sympathy towards her brother at the end of the post, “My brother is a troubled person,” she writes, “I’m so sorry he’s doing this.”
