If one was paying attention to the news, you know Meek Mill, rapper, who was sentenced to jail for two to four years in state prison for violating his probation.

Meek Mill was released recently with the support from several celebrities using the hashtag #freemeek.

Meek Mill had been released from prison after serving almost five months in jail. Meek Mill recently tried to request for other judges’ removal. Judge Genece Brinkley has been dealing with Meek’s case for over the last ten years. Brinkley was asked to be removed from his case because allegedly has a vendetta against Meek.

Judge Leon Tucker according to Billboard told Meek’s attorney that the state Supreme Court is the only one who can decide the matter. Tucker states that since he wears the same robe as Brinkley and she has not disqualified herself, so he doesn’t have the jurisdiction to remove her from the case.
One of Meek’s attorney, Joe Tacopina, indicates that they respectfully disagree with Judge Tucker and will go ask the Pennsylvania Supreme Court to reassign the case.
