Everyone Wears Orange to Honor Lives of Gun Violence Victims
Followers on Twitter started the hashtag of wearing orange to remember those who were killed in high school shootings in the United States.
Families and friends take pictures of themselves and write posts about wearing orange to honor the lives of high school students killed in school shootings across the states. Here are some of the things that people posted on Twitter to stand in solidarity on the issue of school shootings and gun reform in our country.
I #WearOrange for my beautiful son Alex Teves & all victims of GV. Alex was shot & killed in a Aurora movie theater while shielding his girlfriend from harm. 12 killed & 70 wounded that day by a mentally unstable individual who should have never been able to purchase firearms. pic.twitter.com/8a9fhFXgRH

Oh, I’m definitely rocking orange today. Standing with high school students and everyone else across the country demanding gun reform.

Even Hillary Clinton supported the movement with others on Twitter saying:
Too many American children will never have the opportunity to realize their dreams because their lives were cut short by a bullet. Our kids deserve to live free from the threat of gun violence. #WearOrange @Everytown @MomsDemand pic.twitter.com/SjacOKPgVv

We also wear orange to stand in solidarity with the families, friends, and schools that loss important people in their lives and communities. No one deserves to lose their lives or their loved ones to gun violence.
