Dej Loaf Liberates New York Through Marriage Licenses
Although Dej Loaf tweeted out that she’s “single and not looking”, she wants to cover the cost of marriage licenses for New Yorkers ready to get hitched.
On June 8, starting at 8:30 AM EST, at New York City Hall, Dej Loaf is paying for all marriage licenses.
The musician shared a picture on Twitter and Instagram of a black background with bold yellow text that reads, “on June 8th, I am helping people get liberated. Visit New York City Hall to have your marriage license cost covered by me. Love wins when #peoplegetliberated.”
The “Try Me” singer’s announcement comes after her Monday teaser of her new song, “Liberated,” featuring Leon Bridges.
The full-length video for “Liberated” dropped on midnight and serves as the first single off her new album, believed to be of the same name.
