Jenna Ortega’s Jacket Makes a Statement
Jenna Ortega’s 2018 Radio Disney Music Awards outfit has a message for FLOTUS.
Teen actress and activist, Jenna Ortega, is just one of the many celebrities speaking out against the First Lady’s questionable outfit choice.
In response to the tone-deaf “I really don’t care, do you?” Zara jacket worn by Melania Trump while visiting migrant children in a detention camp, Jenna Ortega wore a trendy off-the-shoulder jacket with the message “I do care and you should too.”
While showing off the jacket in an Instagram post, Ortega wrote “dear @flotus” in the caption.
This is not the first time the 15-year-old actress has spoken out against anti-immigration rhetoric. In 2016, the Stuck in the Middle alum made an appearance in a stream promoting the Pride Over Prejudice campaign for DoSomething.org.
The Disney Channel star also seems to have a habit of using her love of fashion to make a statement.
While it looks like Ortega’s jacket is a custom piece, we can’t wait to see the who designed it and the looks it inspires.
