BlackPink Hits Billboard Charts with ‘Ddu-Du Ddu-Du’
K-pop and summer bops.
BlackPink is a massively successful South Korean girl group consisting of four members, Jisoo, Rose, Lisa, and Jennie. The group is signed under YG Entertainment, which hosts artists like Winner, Bigbang, and AkDong Musician.
Their new single, “Ddu-du Ddu-Du” landed the number 55 on the Billboard Hot 100. It is the highest ranking girl group song on the Billboard charts, beating out the Wonder Girls’ “Nobody” which ranked at 79.
“Ddu-du Ddu-du” also debuted at No. 39 on the Billboard Streaming Songs chart. The song appears on BlackPink’s EP Square Up.
