Sam Smith and Brandon Flynn Have Split
The “Too Good At Goodbyes” singer just bid adieu to his boyfriend of nine months, 13 Reasons Why star Brandon Flynn, last week.
The two started dating just before the release of Smith’s second and most recent album, The Thrill Of It All, in November 2017. A source told The Sun, “Sam and Brandon had a real whirlwind romance. They really fell for each other. But they are both so busy with their careers and unfortunately things just haven’t worked out.”
Allegedly, the breakup was very much a mutual one, but of course that often doesn’t ease the heartbreak. “Sam is obviously devastated. This is the most significant relationship he has ever had,” said the source. The split certainly does appear to have taken its toll, as the 26-year-old English crooner has also reportedly deleted all photos of he and Flynn from his Instagram page.
Fortunately, Smith is occupied at the moment on tour across America until November. As for Flynn, he was last seen at New York Pride this past weekend with his 13 Reasons Why co-stars, Tommy Dorfman and Kate Walsh.
