Anne-Marie and Ed Sheeran’s Lovely Acoustic Duet
Anne-Marie and Ed Sheeran have come together to make an acoustic version of her pop hit “2002.”
Anne-Marie is a 27-year-old English singer-songwriter that has been gaining attention from listeners across the globe. Her hits include “Friends” and “2002,” as well as her feature on Clean Bandit’s “Rockabye”, all of which have topped U.K and U.S. charts for weeks.
On July 12th, she posted an official acoustic video to her YouTube channel of 2.4 million followers, alongside fellow talented British musical sensation Ed Sheeran.
Together they made a soft and mellow duet for an acoustic version of “2002” that they co-wrote. The song is on the tracklist of her LP, Speak Your Mind which was released in April.
The duo smile and laugh throughout the backstage-filmed video. Ed Sheeran plays the acoustic guitar riff and sings with Anne-Marie in the choruses. They both shared clips of the song on their Instagram, Anne-Marie writing, “it feels good singing our song, together although I think he sings it better.”
