Selena Gomez Unfazed by Justin Bieber Engagement
The “Back To You” singer refuses to give the media the gossip they’re after.
When news of her ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber’s proposal to girlfriend Hailey Baldwin broke on Sunday, July 8th, Selena was enjoying herself on a yacht, living her best life with her bestie Theresa.
When TMZ paparazzi swarmed them on the streets of NYC requesting commentary on the betrothal days later, the 25-year-old actress and singer simply turned the other cheek. She ignored those paps completely and the pals continued their chat instead.
While Jelena certainly was hot and heavy on and off from 2010 all the way up until March of this year, it finally seems that they weren’t meant to be after all.
“Selena was surprised an engagement happened this quickly but not surprised Justin would do something like this knowing who he is. At the end of the day though she doesn’t really care,” an inside source told E! News, “Selena is totally over him. She had tried again to make it work that last time and it didn’t work out.”
