Charlie Puth Dedicates ‘Change’ to Demi Lovato as She Recovers in Hospital
At a show in New Jersey, Charlie Puth took time to share a sweet message to Demi Lovato before dedicating a song to her as she recovers in the hospital.
Puth spoke out to the crowd saying, “This song goes out to Demi Lovato. I hope she makes a quick, quick recovery and our prayers are with her” of his friend Lovato just before playing “Change.”
Lovato is currently being hospitalized after an apparent substance overdose. She is recovering from the incident and a rep has issued a statement saying “Demi is awake and with her family who want to express thanks to everyone for the love, prayers and support.” Nothing has been confirmed of the incident and the statement adds, “Some of the information being reported is incorrect and they respectfully ask for privacy and not speculation as her health and recovery is the most important thing right now.”
Lovato has been honest about her struggles in the past and had recently debuted her song “Sober” that was about her relapse.
Puth is not the only one to send love to the pop singer. Friends like Ariana Grande, Shawn Mendes, and Kehlani have shared their support on social media.
