Dove Cameron Gives a Heartfelt Thank You to Fans After an Interview Question
Dove Cameron was brought to tears after being asked a question in a phone interview that brought on a big realization about the actress’s career.
It was the last question of a phone interview with The Hollywood Reporter that made Cameron tear up. She explained that the interviewer ended the call with a question from their 8-year-old daughter, “she wants to know what you wanted to be when you were 8?”
It seems like a pretty harmless, and even cute question, but it was much bigger to Cameron. In an Instagram post, Cameron opened up about her thoughts after the experience. The question made her “break down in tears because I am doing everything that I wanted to do when I was her age. I’m still crying as I write this,” she revealed.
The actress, and now singer, also talked about her struggle with loneliness when she was younger and ended the post by thanking her fans. “I want to take a moment to thank you all so much for supporting me in my dream to make movies/television and music, and to connect with people all over the world through those things,” said Cameron. “I love you & this life more than I have words to say.” You can read Cameron’s full note below:
