Mac Miller Finally Speaks on Ariana Grande
The 26-year-old rapper is just now commenting on his ex’s recent betrothal.
By this point, most everyone is generally aware of the chain of events that have transpired within Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson’s whirlwind romance, including the fact that it began shortly thereafter the pop star ended her 2-year relationship with Mac Miller.
The “Dang!” singer waited well over a month to express his feelings about Ari’s major milestone (the engagement news surfaced on June 11th), despite releasing several new songs that are assumedly about their lost love, but on Monday, July 23rd, he officially broke his silence.

In an interview with Zane Lowe on Beats 1 on Apple Music, Miller confirmed that there are no hard feelings. “I was in love with somebody. We were together for two years. We worked through good times, bad times, stress and everything else. And then it came to an end and we both moved on. And it’s that simple,” he explained, adding that the situation is “a little strange, but it’s not negative.”
All things considered, Miller is happy for his ex and currently more focused on the drop of his new album, Swimming, to come this August.
