Jessica Alba Teams Up with Staples for Back-To-School
The mother-of-three is here to help out students and families during this stressful time of year.
As a child, Alba loved going shopping for school supplies when August rolled around, and not only does she now share that love with her daughters, Honor and Haven, she’s sharing it with kids everywhere.
The Fantastic Four actress has partnered with the Staples for Students campaign to give shoppers who spend at least $25 a chance to win either the grand prize of a $50,000 scholarship (presented by Jessica herself) or one of four $25,000 scholarship prizes. Anyone can help the cause through DonorsChoose.org, a fundraising platform for educators, by giving in-store donations to a classroom project, which Staples will match throughout the back-to-school season.
“Being able to do the things that you need to do but also give my kids that life lesson that not every kid gets to have what you have and not everyone has the same resources [teaches them] it’s important to give everyone the same shot in life,” she told HuffPost.
