The group has finally released an iconic “Evolution of Rihanna” mash-up.

Pentatonix consists of members Kirstin Maldonaldo, Scott Hoying, Mitch Grassi, Kevin Olusola, and Matt Sallee. They are an American acapella group that became ever-so-popular for interesting mashups, medleys, and covers on YouTube.

They originally competed on NBC’s The Sing-Off and won $200,000 for winning the show. The group signed on with Sony’s record label Epic Records, before switching to Madison Gate Records (owned by Sony Pictures).

Pentatonix’s YouTube channel has amassed over 13 million subscribers and nearly 3 billion views. Their video cover of Daft Punk is one of their most popular, with over 250 million views to date.

A fan favorite of their videos is the “Evolution of…” series. In these videos, the five musicians combine a large variety of an artist’s songs into a compiled medley, using their own voices as instruments, melodies, and accompaniments.

They just created their Rihanna medley with earlier hits like “Umbrella” and “Hate That I Love You.”

Check out their video below, featuring Rihanna’s greatest hits. It makes you want to dance and sing along.
