Kesha Releases Trailer for New Documentary Around ‘Rainbow’ Album
Kesha teamed up with Apple Music to make a revealing documentary called Rainbow – The Film.
The music documentary focuses around making her album Rainbow as well as the frustrations of her legal battle with Dr. Luke, in which the producer denied sexual assault and emotional abuse towards Kesha.

Kesha released Rainbow almost a year ago and has announced the documentary to celebrate the anniversary of her latest album. Rainbow was a powerful album for Kesha and just about everyone who listened to it, as it was a way to bring her out of the darkness. In the doc trailer, Kesha recalls “the record has quite literally saved my life.”
When talking to Rolling Stone, she says “I hope this film inspires others to never give up even if you feel full of hurt or lost, because after the storm comes a rainbow. Depression, anxiety and mental illness are things we all need to talk about more, and there is no shame in asking for help. Making the decision to work on yourself is the bravest thing you can do. I hope this film helps bring light and love to everyone.”
Rainbow – The Film will include never before seen footage of recording sessions for Rainbow, psychedelic scenes to show the battle with mental health and with Dr. Luke, and video from her shows. The documentary will premiere via Apple Music on August 10.
