Hayley Kiyoko’s Self-Confidence Message
Hayley Kiyoko sets a great example of what it means to use social media in a positive and uplifting way.
Hayley Kiyoko is a boss. She is multi-talented and likes to act, sing, and dance, beginning her career on the Disney movie Lemonade Mouth. From there she released her own original music and has grown as an artist.
She received a lot of positive feedback on her song, “Girls Like Girls” back in 2015 and had created a safe space for her fans to celebrate the queer community.
Kiyoko recently announced that she is finally going on tour in Europe and the United Kingdom, with tickets selling in early August.
She continues to inspire girls with her positive outlook as well as messages spread with her social media platforms. Just recently, Kiyoko posted an Instagram selfie writing: “Someone asked me today in the q&a ‘how do you become confident?’ Well, if you tell yourself you are ugly every day, you are gonna start believing it. Even when I don’t look great, I look in the mirror and I tell myself how beautiful I am. It’ll start as a joke. But day by day, you’ll start to believe it. And when you are feeling yourself, you’ll be able to appreciate your beauty, genuinely appreciate it. You gotta believe, to see it. You can have confidence too :)”
