Selena Gomez Has Finished Her New Album
The wait is almost over.
It’s been three years since Selena Gomez released her last album, Revival, back in October 2015, and fans will be thrilled to hear that her latest work is now complete. During her friend Connar Franklin’s Instagram live session on Monday, August 13th, the 26-year-old pop star very succinctly revealed, “My album’s coming out later. I’m done with it.”

Though she has dropped several hit singles such as “It Ain’t Me” and “Wolves” over the past two years, her new record will mark the end of what has otherwise been quite a lengthy hiatus.
As for what we can expect from her new music, Gomez told Billboard in May that this album will be largely focused on “personal things.” “There’s no date, there’s no idea for it, but I have a lot of music that I’ve collectively put away,” she shared, “I have so many exciting things coming. It just feels like it’s my time and it’s at my pace. I’m not trying to throw a bunch of music in people’s faces until I’m ready.”
While there’s still no telling when exactly she will feel fully ready for the release, Selenators can rejoice that new tracks are officially on the way.
