Diane Guerrero Joins Forces with Mi Familia Vota
Diane Guerrero recently partnered with the civic-engagement organization, Mi Familia Vota, to promote social issues such as immigration, health care, education, workers’ rights, voting rights, and more.
Mi Familia Vota is an organization dedicated to uniting Latino communities in order to mobilize, educate, and empower them. With election day growing closer, the Orange Is The New Black actress is taking advantage of her platform to bring attention to Mi Familia Vota’s mission, and encourage her following to go out and vote.
Guerrero has previously shared her tragic story of watching her undocumented parents being deported to Colombia when she was only 14-years-old, proving how personal this mission is to her.
