Nicki Minaj Appears On ‘Ellen,’ Talks Queen, Travis, Student Loans + Dating Advice

Nicki Minaj stops by The Ellen Degeneres Show to discuss her new album Queen and her love of her new single life.

The queen of hip-hop defended her previous comments on Travis Scott’s Astroworld album, and why Queen debuted at number 2 on the music charts. Scott had sold t-shirts, tour passes, and other merchandise with his album, helping boost his album to number 1 ahead of Queen. Minaj said to Ellen “I just want to sell music” and laminated that she doesn’t want to make it a competition.

Hilarity ensued when the singer then went on to discuss her romantic affairs, and how she loves to “exercise” three times a day. She expressed how much she enjoyed being single, and the freedom it gives you.

After a few laughs, Minaj shocked fans when she and Ellen, paired up with Walmart,  to give a few fans in the audience to help with their student loans. Minaj has been known to help her fans pay off their student debt, giving to fans who have tweeted at her over the past year.

Finally, Minaj went on to perform a few of her songs from her new album Queen including songs like “Barbie Dreams,” “FeFe,” and “Ganja Burn.”
