Kelly Clarkson is Getting Her Very Own Talk Show on NBC

Kelly Clarkson revealed an impromptu announcement during her guest talk on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. She’s getting her own daytime talk show on NBC, set to debut Fall of 2019. Clarkson casually and discretely revealed that she’s doing her own talk show, which caught Fallon completely off-guard. “This is a big announcement. This has not been announced yet. You’re getting your own talk show,” he quickly said. And then Clarkson jokingly replied, “Yes. Well, it’s been leaked.” Despite there being rumors swirled around, it had not been officially confirmed, so we were definitely more than shocked by the news.

The successful musician also revealed that she already shot the pilot for the show and it will premiere in Fall 2019, as a lead-in to The Ellen Degeneres Show.

“I love talking; it’s like my favorite pastime. It’s hard for me to shut up though. You know, you have to listen to people that go on your show,” she said. “That’s the only thing I got to work on… is listening.” We’re excited to see how she will perform as a talk show host; if it’s anything like when she singing on stage, we have no doubt her television career will be a success.
