Sara Bareilles, Brandon Victor Dixon, Jessica Vosk + More Perform for Broadway Acts For Women
On September 30th, the reproductive rights advocacy organization, A is For, brought together stars from stage and screen to host Broadway Acts for Women: A Star-Studded Night of Karaoke and Comedy. The star-studded event was hosted by A is For’s president Martha Plimpton and Saturday Night Live‘s Cecily Strong, and included performances by Sara Bareilles, Jenn Colella, Deborah Cox, Brandon Victor Dixon, Ariana DeBose, Lesli Margherita, Bonnie Milligan, Jeremy Kushnier, Rashida Olayiwola, and Jessica Vosk.

The night highlighted Broadway stars, actors, and comedians who dedicatedly support access to reproductive health care. Acts for Women is the only benefit that demonstrates the Broadway community’s support for abortion rights and reproductive health care.

This is the only event of its kind where, every year, Broadway performers who support access to reproductive health care attend and sing something they’ve never rehearsed, and the audience bids for a special prize and the chance to choose the song.
