Sarah Hyland Opens up About #WhyIDidntReport
Due to a number of sexual assault allegations sparking controversy in the media, a new Twitter hashtag has encouraged hundreds of brave women to speak on the subject, including Sarah Hyland.
The #WhyIDidntReport movement began in response to accusations against Supreme Court nominee, Brett Kavanaugh. President Trump expressed criticisms toward his accuser, questioning why charges weren’t immediately filed following the assault. Survivors of similar events took to social media to explain why it’s just not that easy.
Many celebrities and public figures have courageously shared their stories and reasons, Hyland being one of them. The Modern Family actress supported Kavanaugh’s accuser, Christine Blasey Ford, and all women by opening up about her experience.

Hyland’s courage is nothing less than inspiring. The star has continued to use her strong media platform to advocate for the movement and spread awareness.
I believe Dr. Christine Blasey Ford. I believe Deborah Ramirez. I believe Julie Swetnick. There is no path forward for Judge Brett Kavanaugh. #BelieveSurvivors #TIMESUP https://t.co/LxocT07liI
