Upcoming ‘Stranger Things’ Novel to Focus on Eleven’s Mother
If you are dying for more content for Netflix’s Stranger Things before the third season comes out around next year in 2019, then you can dive into this upcoming novel which focuses on the backstory of Eleven’s mother.
The upcoming Stranger Things novel entitled Suspicious Minds will take place before the events of the series. Gwenda Bond is the author of Suspicious Minds. It will focus primarily on the story of Eleven’s mother, Terry Ives, and her experience as a test subject for MKUltra. The book will be released through Del Rey Books, which is a branch of Penguin Random House.
Not only have there been plans to release Suspicious Minds, but there have also been plans to release a four-issue comic book series and a behind-the-scenes book on the television series, entitled Stranger Things: Worlds Turned Upside Down on Stranger Things, to be released on October 30. The Stranger Things comic book series will be distributed through Dark Horse Comics and focus on Will’s experiences in the Upside-Down world back in season one.
The first issue was released back in late September.
Back in July, a teaser trailer for the third season of Stranger Things was released to the world. The vintage-styled trailer was a promotional ad for the Starcourt Mall shopping center, a fictional mall built in Hawkins, Indiana. The ad featured an appearance of Steve Harrington, played by Joe Keery, working at the Starcourt Mall as an employee for the ‘Scoops Ahoy’ ice-cream shop.
