A ‘Clueless’ Reboot Is in the Works and We’re Pumped
Clueless is making its way back to the big screen.
That’s right–the 1995 classic is getting a reboot. While details on the production are being kept on the down-low, it has been confirmed that Paramount is picking up the project. The remake will be produced by Tracy Oliver, creator of Girls Trip, and written by Marquitta Robinson, writer for Netflix’s GLOW.
The original coming-of-age comedy starred Alicia Silverstone, Brittany Murphy, Stacey Dash, and Paul Rudd.
Are fans ready for the revival of Cher Horowitz? As IF! Twitter-goers expressed their disdain with the remake, believing it will strip the film of its cult-classic status.
no, traditional media, remaking everything that was once good and ruining all nostalgia will not save you from your impending doom. #clueless is good the way it is.

Despite the negative response, hopefully the future reboot will live up to the expectations its original set.
