Beyoncé Channels Toni Braxton in Halloween Costume
Beyoncé wins Halloween. Now everyone can go home.
Beyoncé has continued the tradition of honoring legendary black women in music for Halloween. Last year, Beyoncé honored Lil Kim with her five all-time iconic looks. In years past, she also honored Salt-N-Pepa and Janet Jackson. This year, the singer honored the R&B legend, Toni Braxton.
Beyoncé recreated Toni Braxton’s 1993 self-titled debut album by posing in a white tank, leather jacket, chain belt, and pixie wig. Beyoncé hilariously called her replica “Phoni Braxton”.

The “Don’t Hurt Yourself” singer is well known for her creative touch and we have to say the album cover looks almost identical to Toni’s, down to the font.

Beyoncé expressed her love and admiration for the “Unbreak My Heart” artist on Instagram.
‘Sending love and adoration to one of our talented legends. Thank you for the countless bops. Your tone, your beauty, your range, and your God-given talent is treasured. Loving you always.’
Toni replied to Beyoncé’s shout out on Instagram and Twitter and told her she looked even better than her original album cover.
It is great to see legends recognizing legends.
