‘Boy Erased’ Releases New Trailer
Boy Erased just released a new extended trailer for the film, which opens in theatres November 2nd.
The upcoming LGBTQ movie is causing quite a stir of anticipation. The movie is based on the memoirs of Garrard Conley and is about his life as a preacher’s son after he comes out as gay. The film tells the courageous story of Jared Eamons, who is outed to his parents and is then sent to a conversion therapy camp. From there, Jared must learn to accept himself and find his own voice. The film released the first trailer back in August.
While the first trailer gave us an insight into what the film would be about, the second trailer gives us a more in-depth approach, drawing more on what the characters are like and the plot itself.
The film stars Lucas Hedges, Nicole Kidman, Russell Crowe, Troye Sivan, Madelyn Cline, Victor McCay, and Joe Alwyn. The film was written by Joel Edgerton and Garrard Conley. You can catch the film in select theaters on Friday, November 2nd.
